Section VII. Technical SpecificationsItem Specification Statement of Compliance1 Provision of eighteen (18) qualified, regular janitorial agencypersonnel, to maintain and keep the University buildings andits perimeters in order;2 Among the (18) janitors, one shall act as participatingsupervisor who shall be responsible for the efficientperformance and conduct of the group;3 Provision of a roving supervisor who shall spot-check theperformance and conduct of the agency janitors/janitresses atleast once a week;4 WORK SCHEDULE:1. Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours daily, generallywithin 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with eighteen (18) janitorson duty;2. Saturday, eight (8) hours within 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.with five (5) janitors on duty.The appropriate eight-hour period and the areas ofresponsibility for each janitor assigned within their respectiveunits shall be determined by the University;5 The Janitorial Services Agency: has an established base of operations in <strong>Baguio</strong> and/orBenguet for the last two (2) years; has adequate number of qualified, regular janitorialpersonnel to meet related services requirements of theUniversity; adequately provides uniform and other paraphernalia toall its janitorial personnel; its janitorial personnel have adequate trainingcourses/programs, and related skills developmentcourses;6 Housekeeping Plan for the University of the <strong>Philippine</strong>s <strong>Baguio</strong>campusBidders must state here either “Comply” or “NotComply” against each of the individualparameters of each Specification stating thecorresponding performance parameter of theequipment offered. Statements of “Comply” or“Not Comply” must be supported by evidence in aBidders Bid and cross-referenced to thatevidence. Evidence shall be in the form ofmanufacturer’s un-amended sales literature,unconditional statements of specification andcompliance issued by the manufacturer, samples,independent test data etc., as appropriate. Astatement that is not supported by evidence or issubsequently found to be contradicted by theevidence presented will render the Bid underevaluation liable for rejection. A statement eitherin the Bidders statement of compliance or thesupporting evidence that is found to be falseeither during Bid evaluation, post-qualification orthe execution of the Contract may be regarded asfraudulent and render the Bidder or supplierliable for prosecution subject to the provisions ofITB Clause 3.1(a)(ii) and/or GCC Clause2.1(a)(ii).Page 35 of 38
