I've been told of verysmall NA admixture in family but have no proof what so ever. Where does the 8% EA admixturecome from since I'm only a 1/3 German and Swedish. English people from the Isle usually don'thave any EA admixture. So the 8%EA seems a little highEmail address (To use delete '-Monday-' and add @ sign in that position): ALIMBECK-Monday-CHEMEKETA.EDU.COMGuest: Jen KingDate-Time: Friday, October 21, 2005 at 21:22:13 (CDT)My Expected Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: 98, 1, 1, 0My Actual DNAPrint Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: 96, 0, 4, 0DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Version Number: 2.5Date DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Was Ordered: 9 September 2005Comments: Extensive genealogical research shows no specific indication of NA, but I have alwayssuspected that I might have NA ancestors due to the times and locations where they lived. Bothsides of the family are largely of colonial stock and have lived in areas with NA populations (oneancestor was adopted by the Powhatans as a child in order to learn their language). People haveoften commented that I look NA and I was even approached about a scholarship based on myappearance (of course I declined it). I will more actively seek information about those ancestorswho I feel are most likely candidates to have been NA. I suspect there is more than one source, asboth sides of my family have had opportunity and express some physical characteristics whichhint at this. I am asking both my parents to test to see if we can narrow it down and rule out thefile:///D|/KERCHNER.COM/dnaprintlog2005.htm (6 of 21)3/8/2010 8:12:17 PM
