2005 Entries into Kerchner's DNAPrint Test Results Logmy biggest surprise was registering 9% EA. I have paper history on my mother's side back to themid 1600's and on my father's side to mid 1700's and there is no indication of any Asian familymembers. All I can think of is that the EA was really NA or that one of my father's gggrandfather's,who was Prussian, had an admixture of asian, although that may have been toolong ago to account for all the 9%, so maybe it was a combination of the two.Email address (To use delete '-Sunday-' and add @ sign in that position): xasd-Sunday-earthlink.netGuest: CFKGuest's Website: http://www.kerchner.com/dnaprint-euro1.0.htmDate-Time: Friday, May 27, 2005 at 00:33:33 (CDT)My Expected Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: 100% N EuropeMy Actual DNAPrint Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: 55% N Europe, 25%MidEast, 20% MED(SE) S Europe(Med)DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Version Number: Euro 1.0Date DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Was Ordered: Mar 2005Comments: My ancestry is PA Deutsch going back to colonial Pennsylvania immigrants fromGerman speaking areas in the Rhine River basin. I have no known Middle Eastern orSoutheastern European (Mediterranean) ancestry in my family oral history or in my 30 years oftraditional genealogical research going back 250 to 500 years on all the various branches of myancestry chart. The sources of the Middle Eastern and Southeastern European (Mediterranean)markers must be very old or ancient.Email address (To use delete '-Friday-' and add @ sign in that position): charles-Friday-kerchner.comGuest: HeidiDate-Time: Sunday, May 22, 2005 at 11:22:07 (CDT)My Expected Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: ?,50,?,?My Actual DNAPrint Results for IE,EA,NA,SSAF Population Groups: 45,36,19,0DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Version Number: 2.5Date DNAPrint Test and/or Euro add-on Test Was Ordered: April 3rd, 2005Comments: I know my mother was full-blooded Chinese, from western China, so there was verylittle chance she was mixed with anything else. The 36% EA is the first confusing thing, since Ithought it would be a sure thing to be 50 %. I don't know my birth father except that I know mymother liked euro-american men, so I expected some European. I don't know what to make of the19% NA, since I can't confirm it in any way, and I know that NA and EA are easily confused inthis test. Is 14% of the 19 really EA, making up the 50% EA? That would leave only 5% NA,which is inconclusive. Overall, I find these results are confusing and a bit disappointing. I am stillsearching for my birth father.Email address (To use delete '-Sunday-' and add @ sign in that position): blissing-Sunday-earthlink.netGuest: Cinda Meeksfile:///D|/KERCHNER.COM/dnaprintlog2005.htm (15 of 21)3/8/2010 8:12:17 PM
