Hvis disse forhold ikke eroptimale, slides ståltovet unormalt hurtigt, og ståltovet tilføresspændinger. Defekte skiver/blokke skal udskiftes eller repareresomgående.Hvis sporet repareres ved svejsning, anbefaler Fyns Kran UdstyrA/S, at hårdheden på svejsematerialet er ca. 300 Brinel, såledesat man får sliddet på skiven i stedet for på ståltovet.Størrelsen af ståltovets anlægsvinkel (vinkelændring) på skivenhar også indflydelse på ståltovets levetid (Fig. 38). Hvis det ernødvendigt at ændre retningen på ståltovet, anbefaler Fyns KranUdstyr A/S at undgå retningsændringer mellem 5° og 45°.The curve (Fig. 37) in the diagram below indicates the effect ofthe D/d ratio (sheave diameter/steel wire rope diameter) on thesteel wire rope’s life expectancy.Always check whether the sheaf groove is worn at the baseand along the edges. If it is not, the steel wire rope will besubject to unusually significant wear and tear and stresseswill be introduced into the rope. Defect sheaves/blocks shouldtherefore be replaced or repaired immediately.If the groove is repaired by welding, Fyns Kran Udstyr A/Srecommends that the hardness of the welding material isapprox. 300 Brinel, so that it is the sheaf that is worn, and notthe steel wire rope.The size of the steel wire rope’s contact angle a (angle change)on the sheaf also has an effect on the steel wire rope’s lifeexpectancy (Fig. 38). Ståltovet leveresenten på tromler eller i kvejl. For at undgå at tilføre ståltovetspændinger og kinker under installationen, er det nødvendigt atanbringe tromlen/kvejlen på en drejeskive eller i en buk. Hvisdette ikke er muligt, kan ståltovet rulles ud på jorden, mensståltovsenden fastholdes (Fig. 39). Husk at sikre ståltovsendenmod opdrejning, uanset om ståltovet er formlagt eller ej. Dettekan f.eks. gøres ved overbrænding (tilspidsning), påsvejsningaf trækøje eller omvikling med ståltråd/jernbindsel (se ogsåafsnittet “Kapning og takling af ståltov”).Ståltovets levetid som funktion af anlægsvinklenLife expectancy as a function of the contact angleInstallation of Steel Wire RopeSteel wire rope from Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S is produced in sucha way that it is tension-free in an unloaded state. The steel wirerope is supplied either on reels or in coils. To avoid creatingtension or kinks in the steel wire rope during installation, it isnecessary to place the coil/reel on a revolving platform, or asshown in Fig. 39. If this is not possible, the steel wire rope can berolled out on the ground while the end of the rope is held in place.Remember to secure the end of the steel wire rope againstopening, regardless of whether or not it is pre-formed.
