PP, PE, PVC eller PA alt efteranvendelsesområde (Fig. 23). Forhudningen beskytter ståltovetmod rust og slid. Andre fordele er f.eks., at levetiden vedkørsel over skiver forlænges væsentligt. Desuden vil eventuelletrådbrud ikke ødelægge ting, som ståltovet kommer i nærhedenaf.TaifunTaifun er Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S` handelsbetegnelse for etspecielt ståltov, hvor ståldugterne er omviklet med fibergarner(Fig. 24). Taifuner fremstilles med FC eller IWRC. Taifunerforener egenskaber fra fibertove og ståltov: Styrke og lilleforlængelse fra ståltovet samt “blød” overflade og fleksibilitetfra fibertovet.Taifunen anvendes primært som forstærkning ifiskenet, men kan også anvendes til gyngetove, klatrenet oghvor der i industri eller landbrug bl.a. stilles specielle krav tilslidstyrken. Taifuner fremstilles normalt som et 6-slået tov, menkan også laves med 3, 4 eller 8 dugter.BloktovBloktov er Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S` handelsbetegnelse foret specielt stål tov, hvor ståldugterne er omviklet dels medfibergarner (Danline), dels med sisalgarner. Bloktovet fremstillesprimært med FC (Fig. 25), men kan også fremstilles med IWRC.Sisalgarnerne udvider sig, når de bliver våde, hvorved Bloktoveti større grad kan fastholde ting/emner, der er bundet til tovet.Ellers har Bloktovet samme egenskaber som Taifunen. Bloktoveanvendes som forstærkning i fiskenet. Bloktove frem stilles normaltsom et 6-slået tov, men kan også laves med 3, 4 eller 8dugter.Coated Steel Wire RopesA coated steel wire rope has been coated with a plastic materialsuch as PP, PE, PVC or PA, depending on its intended application(Fig. 23). The coating protects the steel wire rope against rust,wear and tear. Other advantages are e.g. that its life expectancy,when running over the sheaves, is increased significantly.Furthermore, any wires that might break will not cause damage toobjects in the proximity of the steel wire rope.Combination RopesTaifun is Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S trade name for a specialcombination of rope, in which the steel strands are wrappedup in fibre threads (Fig. 24). Combination ropes are producedwith FC or IWRC. Combination ropes combine the propertiesof fibre ropes and steel wire ropes: The strength and minimalelongation of the steel wire rope and the “soft” surface andflexibility of the fibre rope. Combination ropes are primarily usedfor strengthening fishing nets, but may also be used for swings,climbing ropes and for applications in industry/farming thatrequire particularly durable ropes.Sisal/Danline Clad Wire RopesSisal/Danline clad wire ropes are special steel wire ropes inwhich the steel strands are wrapped in a combination of fibrethreads (Danline) and sisal threads. Sisal/Danline clad wireropes are produced primarily with FC (Fig. 25), but can alsobe produced with IWRC. The sisal threads expand when wet,causing the Sisal/Danline clad wire ropes to have increasedability to secure objects/materials that are tied to the rope. Inother respects the Sisal/Danline clad wire rope has the sameproperties as the combination rope. The Sisal/Danline clad wirerope is used to strengthen fishing nets.OrmtovOrmtov er Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S` handelsbetegnelse for etspecielt kabelslået ståltov, hvor dugterne er et 6-slået tov medFC. Tre af dugterne er af stål og de resterende tre dugter eraf fiber. Ormtovet fremstilles primært med FC (Fig. 26), menkan også fremstilles med IWRC.Den specielle opbygning afdugterne gør, at tovet har en noget større brudforlængelse endalmindelige ståltove og Taifuner, hvilket gør Ormtovet velegnetsom træktove på slæbebåde.CobraCobra is Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S` trade name for a special springlay wire rope in which the strands are 6-lay rope with FC. Threeof the strands are steel, and the other three strands are fibrerope. Cobra is produced primarily with FC (Fig. 26), but can alsobe produced with IWRC.
