Spear tackles/sporting injuriesUnwitnessed fall/fall.Types of collars: discuss with participant those in your facility and correct application.ACTIVITY 6Name three indications for bag-valve-mask (BVM) ventilation.Failure of ventilation.Failure of oxygenation.Failed intubation.ACTIVITY 7Name two contraindications for BVM ventilation.BVM ventilation is absolutely contraindicated in the presence of complete upper airway obstruction.BVM ventilation is relatively contraindicated after paralysis and induction (because of the increasedrisk of aspiration).Discuss with participant.
