Target Audience:
With the surgical training we adress to laparoscopic surgeons, which do not
have experience with certain surgical technqiues in the bariatric field.
The course will be held in german by Prof. Thomas Carus, who has been teaching
for many years in the Neuwerker Nahtkurs laparoscopic suturing techniques.

Course Objectives:
Next to basic techniques like laparoscopic suturing and knotting techniques,
the use of stapeling devices is a major aim in the courses. Therefore different
anastomotic techniques will be trained: gastro-entero-anastomosis, enteroentero-anastomosis
and band placement.
The participants will have the possibility to gain help and support from experienced
german surgeons.
In the surrounding of the historic Gallery Hall it will be an extraordinary
course.
