3IBU EVENT AND COMPETITION RULESIBU Cup Ranking Register Start Maximum on start1 to 5 7 6 306 to 10 6 5 2511 to 20 5 4 4021 <strong>and</strong> above 4 3 (60)Total 15516.2.1 General:In each IBU Cup trimester, each competitor must at least once reach a resultof maximum 30% behind the average of the top-three <strong>and</strong> demonstratesafe competence in skiing <strong>and</strong> on the shooting range. Competitors who failto reach this quality performance st<strong>and</strong>ard may not start in the IBU Cupuntil the second following trimester. Youth class competitors may start inthe IBU Cup, however only as stipulated in Art. 16.1 above.16.2.2 IBU Cup for non-European countries:All non-European NFs will have an IBU Cup start quota of four <strong>and</strong>register 5, unless they are entitled to more according to 16.1 above.16.3 COMPETITORS AND ENTRIESThe Host NF may enter an additional two competitors per gender. Allentered competitors will be eligible to earn IBU Cup points.16.4 SCORINGAt IBU Cups, IBU Cup points are awarded.16.4.1 IBU Cup Discipline PointsAt each IBU Cup Individual, Sprint, <strong>and</strong> Pursuit <strong>competition</strong>, points willbe awarded for each discipline as follows:1st place 60 points2nd place 54 points3rd place 48 points4th place 43 points5th place 40 points6th place 38 points7th place 36 points8th place 34 points9th place 32 points10th place 31 points,further decreasing by one down to ... 40th place (1 point).3-88 IBU RULES
