3IBU EVENT AND COMPETITION RULESsame order beginning with start number 4 – 6, <strong>and</strong> bronze medalists inthe same way beginning with start number 7 – 9. The top competitors inthe current WC total score will receive start number 10, <strong>and</strong> so on. If acompetitor has won more than one medal in the personal <strong>competition</strong>sof the WCH being held, he will receive the lowest start number inkeeping with the above sequence <strong>and</strong> other competitors will move upin the same order, <strong>and</strong> the same principle will apply if more than onecompetitor wins multiple medals, or if one or more competitors aremissing. Four competitors will be the maximum number of entriesallowed by any one NF. However, if a NF has more than four medalists,then all medalists from that NF will be entitled to start. In addition tothe NF’s quota, the champions of the previous year’s OWG or WCH MassStart will be allowed to be entered. She <strong>and</strong> he will receive start number30 unless they have already been selected in accordance with the aboverule.12.6.1.4 Relay CompetitionsThe best 30 NFs (women’s <strong>and</strong> men’s results) may enter relay teamsbased on the previous year’s Nations Cup score. If any of the top-30ranked teams are not entered, the next ranked teams may enter.12.6.1.5 Mixed Relay CompetitionsA maximum of 30 Mixed Relay teams will be allowed to participate (oneper NF), based on the sum of the NF’s current women’s <strong>and</strong> men’sNations Cup score. If any of the top-30 ranked teams are not entered,the next ranked teams may enter.12.6.2 Quota – Y/JWCH12.6.2.1 Maximum Registration <strong>and</strong> EntriesEach NF may register a maximum of five junior men <strong>and</strong> junior womeneach, <strong>and</strong> five youth men <strong>and</strong> youth women each in the Y/JWCH. Thefollowing entry regulations apply to specific <strong>competition</strong>s at the Y/JWCH:12.6.2.2 Individual <strong>and</strong> Sprint CompetitionsA maximum of four competitors per NF may be entered for each ofthe following classes: junior men, junior women, youth men <strong>and</strong> youthwomen. Additionally, the NFs of the Individual <strong>and</strong> Sprint champions inthe previous year’s Y/JWCH will be granted the right to enter them atthe Y/JWCH Individual <strong>and</strong> Sprint <strong>competition</strong>s in addition to their NF’s3-74 IBU RULES
