Accommodation reservationPreliminary accommodation reservations must be submitted to the OCtwo months before the official arrival day of the WCH/YJWCH, and forall other IBU competitions one month before. Final accommodationreservation must be submitted 14 days before the official arrival day.g. Registration of Team StaffNFs will be allowed to register team staff per gender according to thefollowing table:Number of registered athletesTeam staff quota1 42 53 64 75 86 97 or more 10h. OCs’ general obligation:OCs must present the registration list to the RD/Ass RD at least theday before the first team captains’ meeting for inspection.1.5.1.2 By sending a registration, NFs confirm and tacitly guarantee that allmembers of the team are covered by accident and liability insuranceand that the athletes of the team are medically fit to compete.1.5.2 Entrya. Entry is the notification of an athlete or team being entered to startin a specific competition, and must be submitted in writing at leasttwo hours before the draw for the Individual, Sprint and Super SprintQualification competitions at all IBU events.b. Teams must be entered in Relay and Mixed Relay competitions atall IBU events not later than two hours before the team captains’meeting for the competition or the draw, if one takes place. At allIBU Events NFs must announce their intention to enter a Relay teamby 12:00 hours on the day before the Relay competition. Names ofRelay competitors in start order must be submitted by 16:00 hours3-16 IBU RULES

In extraordinary circumstances or ifcompetitions are held in the evening, the deadline for submitting theentry of participants will be determined by the RD/TD.c. Entries in the Pursuit competition are not required as all competitorswho qualify for the Pursuit in the qualifying competition are assumedto be entered. Names of qualified athletes who will not start in thePursuit competition will be reported to the competition office as soonas possible and at least two hours before the start.d. Entries for the Mass Start competition are not required asqualification is based on current WC total score and at WCH onprevious competitions. Names of Athletes qualified for the Mass Startcompetition must be confirmed by a signed, written form presentedto the competition office as soon as possible and at least two hoursbefore the start. The numbers of competitors that may be entered ina competition are stated in the event rules.e. Entries in the Super Sprint (qualification and final) competition willbe based on an invitation from the OC. The OC and the IBU will jointlydefine the system of qualification.f. The OC must provide a current weather forecast 30 minutes beforethe entry deadline so that the teams will have the latest informationfor preparing their entries.1.5.3 Registration ProceduresRegistration must be sent in writing, by post, fax, email or via the onlineregistration system, to the address indicated in the invitation before thedeadline. For all IBU events, registration must be made by the NF. Forthe OWG, IOC regulations apply.1.5.4 Late Entriesa. The Race Director (RD)/Technical Delegate (TD) may approve a lateentry due to extraordinary circumstances before the draw.b. The competition jury may approve a late entry after the draw due toforce majeure. The competition jury will decide what position(s) thelate competitor(s) will start in. A separate draw may be used for thispurpose.1.5.5 Replacement of Entry - Force MajeureIf an entered competitor cannot start due to force majeure, anotherregistered competitor may take his place, but not later than 30 minutesIBU RULES 3-17
