Pie6bership in bands should ba loft to band councils who should inturn have recourse to provincial courts in the sottloment ofdisputes.2. .idopted children to be members of the Indian family.3. The nationality of a woman in marrying is determined by that ofher spouse.4, nligitimate children of an Indian woman should have Indian status.5. .;ny Indian over 21 should havu tho privilege of enfranchisementafter a suitable waiting poricd.5. Children of people who riithdrow fpon Indian status should reminen the band list uiitil thay are old enough to decide for thelilsolves.7. Elections should be run under the provincial election regulationsin regard to age, method of running elections, eligibility foroffice, and other detail?.8. 'iZIe term of office for chief and council should be four yoars.9. Election of councillor should be alternated from year to year toprovide for chntinuity in office.19; and councils should have access to lawyers in order to scrutinizea11 legal documents before final signing.11.
