Description of work: Providing Heavy Duty Photocopier Machinesalongwith operator, paper and will include maintenance and all peripherals.If required by the Department, service need to be provided on Holidays,Saturdays and Sundays in addition to the working days.4. Model required : Heavy Duty Photocopier Machines with a minimumspeed of 60 copies-per-minute or more , Auto Exposer, Zoom facility and AutoDuplex.5. The machines should be new and capable of producing excellent copies.The machines should not be older than 1 year on the date of installation.6. Place of work : All the Income Tax offices in Mumbai. Presently, thereare 25 sites identified for installation of the Photocopier Machines. However,the number of sites may be increased as per the requirement of theDepartment.Terms and Conditions of the Contract:• The rate quoted should include the cost of providing Heavy DutyPhotocopier Machine with service and maintenance alongwithconsumables like toner and paper, manpower to handle the PhotocopierMachine• The Contractor will be required to maintain registers for eachPhotocopier Machine and a copy of the same will be required to beattached with the monthly bills after certification from the Building-inchargeof the concerned building.• The contractor should have sufficient experience in similar type of workand handling minimum of 20 machines or more and should haveprovided such services in Government Departments or PublicUndertaking during the last 3 F.Y.’s. -2-• The contractor will be required to station required man power permachine at all the buildings of the Income Tax Department in Mumbai.• In case of any breakdown the Photocopier Machine should be replaced soas to ensure continuous work.• The Contractor/Firm should be based in Mumbai.• The bills may be raised on the basis of actual copies taken. Nominimum guarantee of copies will be ensured by the Department.7. Earnest Money Deposit : An E.M.D. of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees FiftyThousand Only) by way of Demand Draft / Pay Order favouring : ‘ZonalAccounts Officer, CBDT’ payable at Mumbai should be enclosed with the bidin the envelope containing ‘Technical Bid’8. Bids once submitted shall not be allowed to be withdrawn and anydefault after acceptance of the bid shall be deemed to be non-compliance ofterms of contract and the E.M.D. will be liable for forfeiture.9. The Financial Bid will be opened, only if, the bidder fulfills theeligibility criteria and the stipulated conditions in the Technical Bid.10.
