Product 04146/04152 / Edition 07/12RECKLI ® CemGel K and KSPropertiesRECKLI CemGels are viscous, gel-like products consisting of interface-active acids for use in micro elutriationof concrete surfaces in positive system. According to the wanted effect RECKLI CemGel is available in twotypes: K (concentrated) and KS (stronger concentrated).Pale yellow gel-like liquid, ready to usepH-Value: 0-1Density:appr. 1.2 – 1.3 g/cm³Frost proofApplicationRECKLI CemGel can be used for the treatment of a variety of elements: Façade elements, window sills,mantles, pillars, etc.RECKLI CemGel reacts with the cement skin of the concrete, bringing out the aggregates and giving theconcrete the appearance of natural stone (sand stone effect). The viscous constancy prevents the product fromrunning off vertical surfaces too quickly. It does not penetrate the concrete capillaries and therefore does notjeopardize reinforcements.ProcessingRECKLI CemGel should be shaken or stirred well before use. Apply the undiluted product to the thoroughly wet,preferably 2-3 day old element (use watering can, brush, broom, etc.).After application, the product reacts on the contact surface with the alkalinity of the concrete. There is starting afoaming. In order to completely neutralize RECKLI-CemGel, continue to spread the applied material until thefoaming effect subsides.
