Until processes arereserved for it, the server cannotrun any analysis processes, andeach server is limited to thenumber of processes reserved forit.For example, if the license permits100 processes, but only 50processes are reserved for theserver, the server cannot runmore than 50 processessimultaneously.If a server is online and runninganalysis processes on clients,those client processes arededucted from the total number ofprocesses available under thelicense. If a server is offline,processes reserved for that serverare not deducted from the numberallowed by the license. Allowing retriesincreases the likelihood ofsuccessful processing, since someerrors can be corrected whenwork units are retried.If the software encounters anerror when it processes a workunit, and if retries are allowed, theMetaXpress PowerCore serversends the work unit to the nextavailable client for processing.All work unit errors, including theinitial error and errors resultingfrom retries, are listed on theErrors page.
