If this happens, <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong>clients that were previously connected are notavailable when the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> serverapplication is started. To avoid the issue, do notclose the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> server applicationduring an analysis. Always stop Auto Run QueueMonitoring <strong>and</strong> cancel the current job before closingthe application. To resolve the issue, restart the<strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client service. For moreinformation, see Stopping <strong>and</strong> Restarting the<strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client Service on page 67.<strong>MetaXpress</strong> Auto Run Queue Monitoring can be startedonly if clients are connected to the server. You must setup clients <strong>and</strong> they must be connected to the serverbefore you can monitor the Auto Run Queue. Inaddition, the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client service mustbe running on client computers. For more information,see Installing the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> ClientApplication on page 46.Things to check:• Database client configuration: Verify database clientsettings on the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> server <strong>and</strong> all<strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> clients. For instructions, seeChapter 4 Database Client Configuration onpage 25.• The Auto Run Queue: Verify that <strong>MetaXpress</strong>Software is configured to send jobs to the Auto RunQueue, <strong>and</strong> that there are jobs in the queue. Forinstructions, see the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> documentation.• Journal usage in <strong>MetaXpress</strong> jobs: Verify that the<strong>MetaXpress</strong> jobs do not contain journals.
