The service is started during installation, <strong>and</strong> itstarts automatically whenever the client computer is restarted. If theclient is available, the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client service shouldalways be running, because the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> server cannotsend work units to the client unless the service is running.You can stop <strong>and</strong> restart the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client service formaintenance <strong>and</strong> other tasks as needed. If the client is processing workunits when the service is stopped, however, those work units aremarked as having failed.To stop <strong>and</strong> restart the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client service1. On the Windows Control Panel, double-click Administrative Tools.2. Double-click Services.3. On the services list, double-click <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Client.4.
