<strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Server <strong>and</strong> License ManagementViewing <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Software LicenseUsage <strong>and</strong> CapacityYou can view the number of <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> client processesthat are reserved, running, <strong>and</strong> available through your <strong>MetaXpress</strong><strong>PowerCore</strong> Software license.To view <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> Software license usage <strong>and</strong> capacity1. In the <strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> server application, click Edit >Server Settings.The number of active processes appears in the Licensing section.2. To view additional license usage <strong>and</strong> capacity information, clickAdvanced in the Licensing section.The License Usage property sheet appears. This property sheetshows:• License Key ID: The identification number of the license keyUSB device installed on the host computer.• Maximum Number of Parallel Processes: The number ofanalysis processes that can be running simultaneously on<strong>MetaXpress</strong> <strong>PowerCore</strong> clients. If you have multiple servers,they can share the same license information but theircombined number of simultaneous processes, as specified onthe License Usage property sheet for each server, cannotexceed the number allowed by the license.• Processes Currently in Use by Other Servers: The number ofprocesses that are currently being run by other servers.• Available Processes: The current number of processes thatcan start <strong>and</strong> run simultaneously under the license. Todetermine the number of available processes, the softwaresubtracts the number of processes running on clients, fromthe maximum number of processes allowed by the license.The remainder is the number of available processes.• Processes to be Reserved for this Server: The number of processesthat have been set aside for use by this server. Until processesare reserved for it, the server cannot run any analysisprocesses, <strong>and</strong> each server is limited to the number ofprocesses reserved for it.3.
