MetaXpress PowerCore Software Installation and User GuideStopping Queue Monitoring and Canceling JobsAlthough the MetaXpress PowerCore Software is designed to operatecontinuously, you can stop Auto Run Queue Monitoring and cancel thecurrent job at any time. You should do this if you need to close theMetaXpress PowerCore server application, shut down the server formaintenance, or change the server’s broadcast and connectionsettings. MetaXpress PowerCore server settings cannot be changedwhen jobs are being processed.To stop Auto Run Queue Monitoring and cancel the current job1. In the MetaXpress PowerCore server application, click the JobMonitoring tab.2. To prevent the MetaXpress PowerCore server from starting thenext job in the queue, in the Auto Run Queue Monitoring section,click Stop.3. In the Active Job Status section, click Cancel.The MetaXpress PowerCore server stops processing the currentjob. Any work units being processed by MetaXpress PowerCoreclients are discarded.Viewing Job Status and InformationThe MetaXpress PowerCore server processes one analysis job at a time.You can view the status of the current job, and you can view the statusof jobs that have been processed since the MetaXpress PowerCoreserver application was started.To view job status and information1. In the MetaXpress PowerCore server application, click the JobMonitoring tab.The current job appears in the Active Job Status section.2. To view additional information about the current job, orpreviously processed jobs, click the Job History tab.The Job History page appears.
