Database Client ConfigurationSupported Database Client SoftwareThe MetaXpress PowerCore Software can be used with Oracle and SQLdatabase software. For database client installation and configurationinstructions, see:• Oracle Client Installation and Configuration on page 26• SQL Client Configuration on page 39Installation Order and WorkflowYou can modify the installation order to improve workflow andefficiency. For example, it is not necessary to install and configure theOracle or SQL database client software on all MetaXpress PowerCoreclients before you install the MetaXpress PowerCore Softwareapplication on them. To reduce the number of times you need to log into separate client computers, you could:1. Log in to a MetaXpress PowerCore client and install andconfigure the Oracle or SQL database client software (seeChapter 4 Database Client Configuration on page 25).2. Install and configure the MetaXpress PowerCore clientapplication on that computer (see Chapter 5 MetaXpressPowerCore Client Installation and Configuration on page 45).3.
