The United States Coast Guard Navigation Information Service (NIS) is <strong>the</strong> central point<strong>of</strong> distribution <strong>of</strong> GPS information in support <strong>of</strong> non-aviation users. The NIS distributesoperational notices on GPS status and reference documents to facilitate system use and receiverdesign. The NIS also collects GPS incidents <strong>report</strong>s, forwarding <strong>the</strong>m for analysis. NoticeAdvisories to Navstar Users (NANUs), and status messages are available by e-mail subscription,as well as on <strong>the</strong> website.217. The NIS is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and supports users by telephone,fax, and e-mail. The NIS maintains a web site (http://www.navcen.uscg.gov) with current GPSinformation.B. GLONASS service interface218. The Coordination Scientific Information Center (KNITs) <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Ministry <strong>of</strong> Defense isauthorized for <strong>of</strong>ficial distribution <strong>of</strong> GLONASS Interface Control Document. It is available at<strong>the</strong> KNITs web site at www.glonass-center.ru219. In order to support activities <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> GLONASS’s Co-ordination Board two bodies havebeen assigned to exchange information concerning GLONASS with <strong>the</strong> civil user community: <strong>the</strong>GNSS Information Analytical Center <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Mission Control Center Korolyov and <strong>the</strong>Multifunctional Navigation Information Center <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Russian Institute <strong>of</strong> Space DeviceEngineering, Moscow (MNIC RISDE).220. The GNSS Information Analytical Center <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Mission Control Center Korolyov (IACMCC) was established in 1995 by <strong>the</strong> Russian Space Agency to support and co-ordinate civilcommunity in GNSS applications. Presently, IAC MCC is <strong>of</strong>ficially acting as Analysis Center <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> International Earth Rotation Service (IERS), International Laser Ranging Service (ILRS) andInternational GLONASS Service - Pilot Project <strong>of</strong> IGS (IGLOS-PP). In a routine mode IACMCC is permanently conducting:• The real-time monitoring and a posterior analysis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> GLONASS/GPS navigationfield;• GLONASS precise orbit determination based on laser data; and• GLONASS/GPS precise orbit and time corrections determination based on one-wayphase data <strong>of</strong> global network (experimental service).221. The following products <strong>of</strong> IAC MCC are currently available for users:• GLONASS/GPS integrity data (real-time, monthly bulletin);• Precise GLONASS orbits based on SLR and one-way data; and• PZ-90-GLONASS/ITRF transformation parameters.40
