Thatmeans the fan, control panel, pumpassembly, preheater station and gastrains are separated from the burner.This concept offers high flexibility tomatch numerous requirements.Digital combustion managementUsing digital combustion managementensures the simple and safe operationof heating/process plant.All important functions such as fuel andair supply, flame monitoring etc, arecontrolled with digital precision.Operational functions are optimized,economy is maximized, and emissionsare reduced to a minimum.Increased safety due to nozzle headwith solenoid activated shut offdeviceA shut off device is fitted in the nozzleand shuts off the oil flow directly in thenozzle orifice. No fuel oil can leave thenozzle head, thus increasing safety andlife time of the equipment.Nozzle oil circulation on residual oilburnersDuring pre-purge on residual oil burnersheated oil circulates through the nozzleand oil line system.Heat recovery by using combustionairMany industrial processes create highflue gas temperatures due to the hightemperature of the medium used (e.g.high temperature boilers).A high measure of energy can berecovered from these hot flue gases,which return via a heat exchanger in theflue. Efficiency can be increased by upto 9% using this technology.Weishaupt WK industrial burners can beoperated with combustion airtemperatures of up to 480F (250°C).Simple maintenanceDiffuser, nozzle, ignition electrodes andthe combustion head are easilyaccessible when the housing is opened.The flame tube can also be removedthrough the opening in the casing oncethe mixing head has been removed. Thecomponents for the regulation of oil,gas and air quantities are neatlyarranged in the controls assembly andare easily accessible. This simplifies allmaintenance work.Insulated burner housingThe burner housing is lined with heatinsulation as standard. Even withcombustion temperatures of 480F(250°C), the surface temperature of thehousing is below 212F (100°C). Thelining also provides effective noisereduction, with a noise level below 85dB(A).NO x reduced operationThe gas version of the burner operateswith reduced NO x emissions.2
