About Geology Department & GeoforumGEOLOGY DEPARTMENTThe Department of Geology is offering undergraduate programme in Geology and Post Graduate Diploma in Drilling Technology.The Department is recognized as Research a Centre in Geology by the University. Many who got graduated took Masters here orelsewhere and returned back in and around Aurangabad District and working in Groundwater Resources Assessment and Managementin Basaltic Terrain.GEOFORUMThe Association of Geologists and Hydrogeologists (GEOFORUM) is a pioneer organization which is purely academic andvoluntary, established by Geologists and Hydrogeologists who are mainly engaged in solving water scarcity related problems, researchactivities thereto and social upliftment through natural resources management. Since its inception in the year 2003, Geoforum has beenprogressing by leaps and bounds so much so that at present it has enrolled as many as 250 members from various disciplines.FACILITIES FOR THE CONFERENCE :The Arts and Science college has 4 Seminar halls under one roof and each hall can accommodate about 100 participants. It isproposed to have 4 parallel sessions at a time.
