Trainings, workshops and meetings on themonitoring, implementation, assessment of life skills should be at the sub-national,national and international levels.● Training should be provided for all aspects: planning, implementation,monitoring, data collection, etc. Life skills training should also be included inteacher training programmes.●●Align and strengthen EFA linkages to the Millennium Development Goals (MDG)in an operational sense.Advocacy and research on the importance of life skills at all levels (national,sub-national, international).4.9 Recommendations to Facilitate National and RegionalAssessment and ReviewParticipants recommended the setting up of a regional and sub-regional body thatmeets regularly and involve international experts. This will be a venue for sharing ofbest practices and updates on global trends.Education statisticians also proposed the holding of consultative workshops on theassessment of life skills.
