AtBooth A22 in Hall 8.0, the team from Bosch inaugurated a new booth conceptas well as presented many new products. “Once again, we opted to appearwith the brands Electro-Voice, DYNACORD and Bosch as a united enterprise,thereby further emphasizing the interoperability of the brands,” explainsMarketing Director Robert Pletz. “This approach also informed the new boothconcept: OMNEO network technology provides for the integration of ourproducts with one another – a fact we illustrated by means of an OMNEObridge at the booth.”The reaction from visitors both to the new booth design and the new productsbeing presented there was equally positive. “It was a superlative trade fair forus,” reports Robert Hesse, Vice President Sales Communication EMEA andManaging Director of EVI Audio GmbH. “The demand for our new systems wassimply overwhelming. We couldn’t have wished for a more motivatingresponse.”On the Thursday of the trade fair – as is the tradition with Bosch – theenterprise held its press conference, which was hosted by Robert Hesse andJohan Jubbega, Senior Vice President Sales EMEA. Themes such as thepositive development of the enterprise and pioneering innovations such asOMNEO were discussed as well as new products. In the case of Electro-Voice,the emphasis here was upon the ZLX series, which was being presented forthe first time in Europe. Representatives of the media and dealerswere able to hear for themselves the quality of the ZLX series in the soundcabin – a new addition to the booth.Also making its trade fair debut was the new A-Line series from DYNACORD.This consists of 12’’- and 15’’ two-way/full-range loudspeakers and an 18’’subwoofer. The A-Line, too, is available in both active and passive versionsand suitable for small to medium-sized venues.One of the principal talking points in the fixed installation segment of the marketwas provided by Bosch : the certification of over 55 Electro-Voice (types:Sx600, EVF, EVH and ZX1i) loudspeakers as compliant with the European EN54-24 standard for voice alarm systems. “In the field of combined sound andvoice alarm systems, we have once again assumed the leading role,” reportsRobert Hesse. “Planners and architects from now on will be able to select theoptimal solution from a wide variety of Electro-Voice loudspeakers.”In the RCM-28, the enterprise was presenting the first OMNEO-capable DSPand network module for Tour Grade and PowerH power amplifiers.
