Local and international students arerequired to attend all classes in which theyare timetabled and undertake all tests andexaminations during a course and abide byall rules and regulations of the institute thatare in <strong>for</strong>ce at any time.2. The <strong>Navitas</strong> institution may be writtennotice vary conditions of enrolmentas may be necessary to comply withany law, regulations or amendmentthereof, of the Government of Australia,Canada or United Kingdom and/or thestate/or provincial governments.3. In the event of circumstances requiringurgent medical care where it is not possibleto contact the parent/guardian, the <strong>Navitas</strong>institution is authorized as a matter ofurgency to seek and provide appropriatemedical care.4. International students are required to haveMedical insurance while studying in Canada.Attendance regulations –United KingdomThe British system of Higher <strong>Education</strong>recognizes that the ultimate responsibility <strong>for</strong>a students educational achievement lies withthe student themselves. Moreover, as the vastmajority of students in British Higher <strong>Education</strong>are over 18, they are recognized as adults anda considerable amount of freedom is extendedto them so they can regulate their own studies.While we fully endorse the idea that we do notethat some student fall unnecessarily into badhabits of non-attendance or poor attendance,and there is a link between poor attendance andpoor per<strong>for</strong>mance in final examinations/UK <strong>Navitas</strong> institutions expects students toattend 80% of their scheduled classes. Student’sattendance is monitored weekly. Attendancerecords are kept.
