Filling Out a SunQuest® EX100 Vinyl Shutter Order FormShutter OrdersAll shutter orders must be complete and faxed on a "Skandia SunQuest EX100 Vinyl ShutterOrder Form" and include dealer signature, date.Customer InformationFill out dealer’s business name, account number, date of order, phone number, fax number,date required (Normal delivery times vary). Call ahead for estimated delivery time beforeordering to determine if an accelerated ship date is needed), P O # and/or side mark, and aseparate "ship to" address if needed.Line #Number the lines 1, 2, 3, etc. When using more than one page continue the numberingsequence. When ordering on more than one form be sure to fill out the page numbers at thetop rightRoomLabel each room. This will help when it comes time for installation. This also is important ifthere is more than one window in the same room. This also helps to alert customer service tolook for coordinating or matching top and bottom rail sizes. Refer to the SunQuest EX100Shutter Manual, section D, page D3, in the "Designing Shutters" section for details.Type and # of PanelsShutter configurations always start with a "P" followed by the number of panels in theparticular shutter configuration being ordered. Additional letters would be added to denote aFrench Door shutter (example- P1FD) (Section B, “Panel Styles” pg. B21), Patio Doorshutter (example -P4D) (Section B, “Panel Styles” pg. B22), By Pass (example- P4BP)(Section F), or Bi-Fold (example-P8BF) (Section G) (In this instance the Bi-Fold is orderedsuspended from an aluminum track which should not be confused with a standard bi-foldshutter for windows).Hinge LocationThis is denoted as one or more letters representing the configuration of hinges and T posts (ifspecified). Reference the arrangement of the letters listed above the illustration of the shutterthat you have selected. Refer to section “B” "Panel Styles" for windows or section “F” "ByPass Frame" & section “G” "Bi Fold Frame" for sliding doors.SizeAlways enter the width first and the height second. Refer to page E15 in section E“Measuring” for factory deductions for inside mount shutters. For outside mount shutters be sure toadd enough width and height to allow for the frame to clear all sides of the opening. Seesection “E” “Measuring” and section “C” “Clearances” for details.Clear View OptionSpecify "Yes" for this option when you want a hidden tilt bar on the back of the shutter. Thelouvers will be connected to each other in the back and off to the side so they cannot beeasily seen. See section “A” page A6 for an illustration.Mount OptionsRefer to section “C” “Clearances” to make sure that you are accurately specifying the rightoption for the particular opening.Frame OptionsSpecify "Trim” frame, "Z" frame; or mounting strip (MS) for inside mount shutters and "L"or "Casing" frame for outside mount shutters. “L” frames can be specified for inside mountapplications when no decorative flange is desired. See section “A” pages A8 & A9.# of Frame SidesSpecify # of frame sides that you want. It is strongly recommended that a four side frame beused for all window applications. For By-Pass and Bi-Fold track system shutters on slidingglass doors, a 3 sided frame is recommended.Sill Frame OptionSpecify this when you want a bottom frame piece for an inside mount application and thewindow has a protruding sill. The sill frame will sit on top the sill and will be miter cut to fiteither the "Trim" frame or the "Z" frame.Divider RailsShutter panels that are over 60" high will require divider rails. Divider rails can be specifiedon panels that are less than 60" tall. Very Important! The reference point for positioning thedivider rail is different for inside and outside mount shutters. The reference point for aninside mount frame is the sill. The reference point for an outside mount frame is where thebottom of the frame will be. The end point of either configuration will be the center of wherethe divider rail is to be located. Filling Out a SunQuest® EX100 Vinyl Shutter Order FormL‐Frame ExtensionSpecify when you want to extend an "L" frame out from the wall or door for additionalclearance. This is commonly used for French door applications.Refer to page A8 in section “A” "Selling" for an illustration.Double Hung SplitSpecify the location of a double hung split by measuring from the bottom of the sill for aninside mount shutter or the bottom of the frame for an outside mount shutter. Specify yes orno regarding a horizontal T Post. A horizontal T post is recommended for double hungshutters.Uneven Panel WidthsDifferent panel widths within the same frame can be ordered using this worksheet. This iscommonly done with window configurations in which the center window is wider than theside windows. For inside mount shutters, measure from the left side of the window casing,for outside mount shutters, measure from the left side of where the end of the frame will be.Refer to pg. D2 in section “D” "Designing Shutters" for details.Complete the OrderOrder must be completely filled at the top where applicable. Include your printed name andsignature at the bottom.
