Other Educational OpportunitiesO T H E R O P P O R T U N I T I E SAUDIT POLICY<strong>Skyline</strong> <strong>College</strong> allows auditing of courses, with theexception of courses in programs that require specialpreparation and/or program admission on a limited basis.A student may audit a course only under the followingcircumstances:1. The student must have previously enrolled for creditfor the maximum number of times allowed for theparticular course.2. The instructor of record for the course must approvethe student’s enrollment as an auditor.3. The student must be in good academic standing.4. If the course is offered for variable units, thestudent must enroll for the maximum number ofunits available.5. The student must enroll as an auditor immediatelyfollowing the published late registration period andpay the auditing fee.Students who enroll in a course for credit have firstpriority for all classroom space. Students who wish toaudit a course may enroll the week after the late registrationperiod is concluded, though with the instructor’spermission they are able to attend the course from thefirst class meeting. Students who wish to audit a coursemust obtain a COURSE AUDIT FORM from the Office ofAdmissions and Records. No student auditing a courseshall be permitted to change his or her enrollment toreceive credit for the course. An auditing fee, as establishedby California Education Code, is payable at thetime of enrollment as an auditor, with the exception of studentsenrolled in ten (10) or more semester credit units.IF YOU DON’T FIND IT AT SKYLINE<strong>Skyline</strong> <strong>College</strong> is part of the San Mateo CountyCommunity <strong>College</strong> District, which also operates Cañada<strong>College</strong> in Red wood City and <strong>College</strong> of San Mateo.
