This peony has a vivid pink petals with a<br />

luminous intensity that is unique among<br />

<strong>peonies</strong>. The flowers are just medium in size<br />

<strong>and</strong> only slightly fragrant, but clearly outshine<br />

other pink doubles in a <strong>vase</strong>. The plant is<br />

very floriferous, with good 28-inch stems <strong>and</strong><br />

foliage that remains green throughout the<br />

Magnificent white, double blooms that are<br />

very large <strong>and</strong> feature an exquisite rose-like<br />

fragrance. This 30” tall plant flowers reliably,<br />

One of the most popular Japanese <strong>for</strong>m<br />

<strong>peonies</strong>. Its large medium pink guard petals<br />

surround a large center of bright yellow<br />

staminodes. The flowers have good substance<br />

<strong>and</strong> are borne up well on long 36-inch stems.<br />

It was awarded the American Peony Society’s<br />

This is a white cut flower classic. The plant<br />

is more compact than many, topping out<br />

at about 28 inches, but its blooms are large<br />

<strong>and</strong> nicely <strong>for</strong>med. The petals have good<br />

substance <strong>and</strong> often carry a blush of pink<br />

upon opening. Carpels at the center of the<br />

bloom are green <strong>and</strong> that same hint of green<br />

can show up effectively on the outer guard<br />

A striking peony that comm<strong>and</strong>s attention<br />

because of its vivid pink color <strong>and</strong> unusual<br />

<strong>for</strong>m. The deep pink guard petals are echoed<br />

by the same color of petaloides at the center of<br />

the bloom where a fringe of contrasting yellow<br />

stamens makes the colors pop.The plant<br />

flowers in the midseason on 26-inch stems.<br />
