Nevertheless, <strong>in</strong> Teadt v. Lutheran Church MissouriSynod, 603 N.W.2d 816 (Mich. App. Ct. 1999) the Court of Appealsacknowledged that the trial court had dismissed pla<strong>in</strong>tiff’s respondeatsuperior claims aga<strong>in</strong>st a church because the m<strong>in</strong>ister who was<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> a sexual relationship was clearly act<strong>in</strong>g outside of thescope of his employment.– 33 –
