Relationship between diagnosis andtreatment• Without diagnosis : low probability of treatment efficacy• There is no gold standard for diagnosis of borreliosis : alldiagnosis studies have lot of bias• therapeutical studies : diagnosis is often not certain• For physicians the main question is :– Shall I give an antibiotic to cure my patient ?– Which percentage of cure if serology is positive ?– Which percentage of cure if intra thecal synthesis is present ?
