ship repairsKoho I in Full GloryA Boost to Stolt CreativityTwo years following her last visit in 2010, Koho I, a333.0m x 60.04m x 29.50m VLCC tanker belongingto Idemitsu Tanker Co. <strong>Ltd</strong>, visited <strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong>for her repairs between October and <strong>Nov</strong>ember2012.The jobs carried out on the 301,045 dwt Koho I includedballast and cargo pipes repairs, main engine maintenance andvalves overhaul. The yard team also carried out sea chestand chain locker cleaning as well as life saving equipmentinspection before rounding up with hull painting works.A renewed Stolt Creativity after repairs at <strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong>.Stolt Creativity, a 176.75m x 31.08m x 15.62mchemical/production tanker, made her presence in<strong>Jurong</strong> <strong>Shipyard</strong> between October and <strong>Nov</strong>ember2012 for her third special survey.The major repair job for the 37,271 dwt vessel was thereplacement of three sets of exhaust gas boilers with theowner's equipment in the funnel space. During her stopover,the yard team also renewed her chain locker housing,anchor chains and gypsy wheel bearings as well as steeringgear.
