Perform this measurement inthe center and both ends of the travel distance,use the maximum value as the measurementvalue and express the value of half the maximumdifference with symbol "±" as positioningrepeatability.[Positioning Accuracy]Using the maximum stroke as the referencelength, express the maximum error between theactual distance traveled from the reference pointand the command value in an absolute value aspositioning accuracy.[Running of Parallelism (Vertical direction)]Place a straightedge on the surface table wheremodel KR is mounted, measure almost throughoutthe travel distance of the inner block using atest indicator. Use the maximum differenceamong the readings within the travel distance asthe running parallelism measurement.[Backlash]Feed and slightly move the inner block and readthe measurement on the test indicator as thereference value. This will cause dust to enter theproduct resulting in loss of functionality.(2) Take care not to drop or strike this product. This could cause injury or product damage. Givingan impact to it could also cause damage to its function even if the product looks intact.(3) Exceeding the dangerous speed may lead the components to be damaged or cause an accident.Be sure to use the product within the specification range designated by THK.(4) Foreign material entering the product will cause damage to the ball circulation components andloss of functionality. Prevent foreign material, such as dust or cutting chips, from entering thesystem.(5) When planning to use the product in an environment where the coolant penetrates the innerblock, it may cause trouble to product functions depending on the type of the coolant. ContactTHK for details.(6) The service temperature range of this product is 0 to 40 (no freezing or condensation). If youconsider using this product outside the service temperature range, contact THK.(7) If the product will be used in location exposed to vibrations or in special environment such asvacuum/clean-room, and/or high/low temperatures, contact THK.(8) If the product is operating or in the ready state, never touch a moving part.
