Contributedassets are not subject to recovery and are amortized over their estimated useful lives.All assets are amortized on a straight line basis (see Note 2(n)(ii)). Contributions fromthird parties for defined purposes are recognized as revenue in the year in which the relatedexpenses are incurred. Contributions restricted for the purchase of capital assets aredeferred and amortized into revenue at a rate corresponding with the amortization rate for therelated capital assets.
