Building on the objectives andfunding commitments of the Provincial <strong>Transit</strong> Plan, the Victoria Regional Rapid <strong>Transit</strong>project has initiated research, creation of a Community Liaison Committee and hosted a numberof public open houses. Recommendations will be delivered in 2010.Target: Kelowna – Rapid Bus 2 from University of British Columbia Okanagan to downtownKelowna – Year 3 (2011/12).Result:The Kelowna Rapid Bus project was reassessed according to the objectives of the Provincial<strong>Transit</strong> Plan.
