Building on the objectives andfunding commitments of the Provincial Transit Plan, the Victoria Regional Rapid Transitproject has initiated research, creation of a Community Liaison Committee and hosted a numberof public open houses. Recommendations will be delivered in 2010.Target: Kelowna – Rapid Bus 2 from University of British Columbia Okanagan to downtownKelowna – Year 3 (2011/12).Result:The Kelowna Rapid Bus project was reassessed according to the objectives of the ProvincialTransit Plan.
