Section One: Harvest ResultsHarvest Results for <strong>2006</strong>-<strong>07</strong>A total of 165,663 <strong>deer</strong> were checked in the<strong>2006</strong>-<strong>07</strong> <strong>deer</strong> season. This is a 25 percent increasefrom the 2005-06 harvest of 132,415. The buckharvest increased 26 percent (90,028) from the2005-06 harvest of 71,253. The doe harvestincreased by 28 percent (47,778 to 61,179).Button buck harvest increased 12 percent (12, 747from the 2005-06 harvest of 11,428).
