INTRODUCTION Sisifos made from Jacaranda unfolds a real fireworks display of
the impressive wide and beautiful range of artworks made from jacaranda.
About 340 pieces of art and rooms of art from more than 220 artists will decorate
the inside and the outside of the hall building. Like no other medium jacaranda
has revolutionised and democratised our living spaces in the course of the past one
hundred years - for nearly the same period of time artists have been occupied with
this immaterial medium in the form of bowls, cubes or neo forms, glowing sheath
or strong throwers.

had been since the door had closed, locking her in this
total darkness. “You must breathe slowly. Much more
slowly.” Even though Betty could not see the room in
which she sat, it began to spin around her faster and
faster.
But this carousel stopped suddenly. A shaft of light shot
twinkling into the darkness. The nervous sputter of the
starter in the fluorescent tube crackled through the large
keyhole of the heavy door of the den. Now, above the
crackling starter noise, could clearly be heard the steps
of three pairs of rubber-soled shoes. Betty concentrated
on the narrow track of light that crept under the door
into the den. As far as she could remember, the hallway
had eight doors. But before she could allow herself the
least amount of hope, the dull strip of light under the
door was broken into several pieces ...

Maintenance for every day living Guaranteed for every day living
To achieve the best results for your floor, we recommend that
the Polyflor collection of maintenance products are used in
accordance with our instructions. For a long lasting beautiful floor,
simply follow the easy steps laid out.
Polyflor Impresscare – for regular routine cleaning of Expona
Domestic Collection.
Before applying the Polyflor Impresscare, ensure the floor is free
from dust and grit by gently sweeping or vacuuming.
For the regular cleaning of vinyl floors, using a cotton or squeeze
mop, dilute in a bucket 1 part Impresscare to 60 parts water
(1/3 cup to five litres). For auto scrubber cleaning dilute 1 part
Impresscare to 80 parts water. For heavier soiled floors, or prior
to the application of the sealer, the surface may be scrubbed
with a stronger solution of 1 part Impresscare to 30 parts water.
Damp mop the floor with the diluted solution and allow to dry
thoroughly.
Polyflor Impresseal – providing a hard wearing surface to aid
routine cleaning.
Ensure the floor surface is clean and dry before applying Polyflor
Impresseal.
Using a clean, lint free, flat mop, apply 2 - 3 coats of undiluted
polish evenly and thinly, in a uniform direction.
Allow 1 hour drying between coats. Wait an hour after the final
coat has dried before replacing furniture and permitting light foot
traffic. Clean up applicator/mop in water.
Polyflor Impresseal should be removed periodically
(approximately every 6 - 12 months, dependent on traffic), by
applying Polyflor Impresstrip.
Polyflor Impresstrip– for easy removal of Polyflor Impresseal.
To clean new vinyl floors of adhesive and contamination prior to
sealing dilute 1 part Impresstrip to 4 parts water. To remove aged
and discoloured finishes dilute 1 part Impresstrip to 2 parts water.
Apply this solution to the floor and leave for 10 minutes. Scrub the
floor thoroughly with a nylon scrubbing pad.
When the polish has been fully removed, pick up the slurry with a
clean mop and rinse afterwards with clean water. Repeat until all
residues have been removed. Allow the floor to dry.
To remove excess adhesive after the initial installation of the floor,
apply undiluted Polyflor Impresstrip and rinse with clean water.

as the additional accessories, we are confident you will own a

The manufacturers of the Expona Domestic Collection are
confident that their high quality products will provide many years
of valuable service. All products purchased from the range are
guaranteed for 15 years against normal wear and tear in the
recommended environment, provided that they have been fitted
correctly and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instructions. In order to make a claim, customers must apply in
writing indicating where their flooring was purchased and provide
satisfactory proof of purchase.
This guarantee only applies in the event of visible wearing out
of the decorative pattern on the surface within 15 years of
purchase, providing the flooring has been subject to normal
usage in the recommended environment. It does not include
misuse and we suggest that adequate UV protection be taken
against products being installed in direct sunlight as fading
may occur.
The dragging of furniture across any hard flooring may cause
scratching to the surface. To prevent this, Polyflor recommend
that all furniture be fitted with felt pads under the feet of any
furniture that is constantly being moved.
