Ourlittle angels were able to express their feelingsto their mothers when they presented poemsand songs. They also made flowers and frameswith their teachers and presented them to theparents. Kindergarten tripsPlaygroup classThis term the playgroup children were learningabout pets. They discovered that a gold fishcan turn white when left in the dark for a longperiod of time. They visited a local store onNgong road for their class trip where they hada chance to see different pets and later theywent to children's world for fun and lunch.Playgroup tripNursery classDo u know how the leopards got its spots? Askthe Nursery class children, because this termthey were learning about the big five. The childrenlearnt that the spots on a leopard arecalled ‘rossets’. They visited the animal orphanageand discovered many interesting factson the big five.Nursery class trip to the Animal OrphanageNursery trip to Metrological DepartmentThey also had a chance to visit the Metrologicaldepartment to learn about different typesof weather and the instruments related toweather. Twiga class projectKindergarten classKindergarten Class tripThe kindergarten class project this termwas on space. The children got to learn aboutthe heavenly bodies and all the nine planets.They enjoyed doing different activities relatedto space e.g.” an imaginary trip on arocket” to wind up the project they visitedReception Class at Cake Citythe children’s World for a fun trip.


Reception classThis term the reception class learnt about the Kitchenand everything found in it. They discovered differentmethods of baking and visited cake city for their classtrip. There they saw different kinds of pastries andcakes, they also got a chance to taste and carry somecakes home, there after they went to children’sworld for fun.Tsavo tripReception Class at Children’s world.The kindergarten and Reception class children had a wonderful breathtaking adventure when they went for an overnight trip to Tsavo. TheyFootball tournamentThis term some of our young Kindergarteners had the opportunity ofparticipating in a friendly football match and a tournament as well. Thefriendly match was played against <strong>Nairobi</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> where they won thegame by 4 (four) goals to 3 (three). The tournament was held at theschool of Nations on the 12 th June 2013.There were 4 schools participatingin the tournament and our school managed to make it to the finalswhere we were the first runners up.Graduation and concertFootball tournamentThe annual graduation ceremony and concert was held on 5 th July2013.We thank all the parents for supporting the event.


CommunicationIt is essential to have a means of communication between the teachersand parents. We do have the diaries; please check your child’s diarydaily to avoid delay in relaying messages. Dear parents please avoidmeeting your child’s teacher during school hours make an appointmentvia the diary or feel free to conctact the office.Closing RemarksParents are reminded that all school fees have been revised upwardswith effect from September, 2013 and a letter to that effect was issuedthe 20 th of June, 2013. The new fees will be reflected in the feenotes.To enjoy the 5% early bird discount, all fees must be paid on or before30th August, 2013. Please note that the deadline for payment ofall fees is 17th September, 2013, outstanding fees after this date willattract a 5% late payment charge and students will not be allowed inschool.
