Because they’re so tired and old<br />
Each animal has a spirit that never dies<br />
But worn colors, cracks, and crevasses<br />
Of the eagle, raven, frog, and bear<br />
Are signs that nature never rests<br />
They tower over us with respect and pride<br />
But day after day as time continues<br />
We go about our business<br />
