<strong>Deepen</strong> <strong>your</strong> <strong>research</strong><strong>experience</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>EPFL</strong><strong>EPFL</strong>’s intern<strong>at</strong>ional postdoctoralfellowship program aims to <strong>at</strong>tract<strong>experience</strong>d <strong>research</strong>ers of anyn<strong>at</strong>ionality to the <strong>EPFL</strong>, to providethem st<strong>at</strong>e-of-the-art conditions for<strong>research</strong>, to develop their leadershippotential and to position them forsuccess as future <strong>research</strong> leaders,through a <strong>research</strong>-intensive training.<strong>EPFL</strong> Fellows runs under the MarieCurie Action COFUND (7 th FrameworkProgram).These fellowships may be held in anyscientific discipline within the <strong>EPFL</strong>and run for a period of 24 months.Applic<strong>at</strong>ions should be made jointlywith the Fellow’s mentor, a seniorscientist <strong>at</strong> <strong>EPFL</strong>. <strong>EPFL</strong> Fellows conducttheir own <strong>research</strong> in the framework ofthe proposed project.Conditions of particip<strong>at</strong>ion¬ Particip<strong>at</strong>ion is open forcandid<strong>at</strong>es of any n<strong>at</strong>ionality¬ The applicants must holda doctoral degree¬ The applic<strong>at</strong>ion must besubmitted not l<strong>at</strong>er than fiveyears after completion ofthe PhD¬ The applicant must fulfil theincoming or re-integr<strong>at</strong>ion criteria(Eligibility criteria: http://commissionrecherche.epfl.ch/<strong>EPFL</strong>Fellows)Selection procedureThe selection procedure comprisestwo phases. In the first phase, the<strong>Research</strong> <strong>Commission</strong> makes an initialselection based on an intern<strong>at</strong>ional peerreview process.
