FEATURES
● All TMH lamps contain mercury, but in most
lamps one or more metals are added.
● Most common metals used are Gallium (Ga),
Iron (Fe) and Lead (Pb ). All three metals result
in a specific and complex multiline spectrum
● These Metal Iodides radiate in the following
spectrum band:
Gallium (Ga) - 400-420nm
Iron (Fe) - 350-450nm
Lead (Pb) - strong lines at 364-368 and 406 nm
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
● Tubular metal halide lamps require special ballasting devices. They provide extra starting voltage and the proper
current and are usually particular to each lamp type.
● Operating lamps emit ultraviolet radiation - avoid harmful exposure to eyes and skin.
● For optimal functioning a system of cooling the lamps has to be foreseen
● Lamps operating at a higher wattage than nominal will have reduced life.
● Burning position: horizontal ±10°
