VUJANOVIĆ, Miroslav ĐANKOVIĆ, Milan BULIĆ, Jovica PERIĆ, MilanVOJNOVIĆ, Goran MUGOŠA, and Damir SIRETA; and with members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>voluntary unit Leva Supoderica, namely <strong>the</strong> following: Milan LANČUŽANIN,Predrag MILOJEVIĆ, Predrag DRAGOVIĆ, Ivan ANASTASIJEVIĆ (named IvicaHUSNIK at <strong>the</strong> time), Đorđe ŠOŠIĆ, Nada KALABA, Saša RADAK (against whomproceedings have been finally completed), and a number <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r unidentifiedindividuals, <strong>the</strong> accused, Petar ĆIRIĆ, engaged in <strong>the</strong> killing and physical injuring <strong>of</strong>war prisoners from <strong>the</strong> Vukovar Hospital, who had previously surrendered <strong>the</strong>irweapons to <strong>the</strong> JNA soldiers and <strong>the</strong>n been handed over to <strong>the</strong> Vukovar TO force.Among those captured in this way were members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Croatian armed forces,militias, voluntary units and persons escorting those armed forces albeit not directlybelonging to <strong>the</strong>m.Description <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> criminal <strong>of</strong>fence:On <strong>the</strong>ir way to a farm hangar where <strong>the</strong>y were going to be confined, <strong>the</strong> captiveswere forced to run between two lines <strong>of</strong> soldiers. Standing in one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lines, <strong>the</strong>accused, Petar ĆIRIĆ, beat and physically injured <strong>the</strong> captives as <strong>the</strong>y passed. Awhile later, when a list with <strong>the</strong>ir identification details had been made, <strong>the</strong> warprisoners were divided into groups which were <strong>the</strong>n loaded on a tractor andtransported in several tours to Grabovo, a site 1km away from Ovčara. Present in afiring sqad that was formed at Grabovo, <strong>the</strong> accused, Petar MARIĆ, shot and killed<strong>the</strong> captives. On his return from Grabovo to Ovčara, <strong>the</strong> accused engaged in <strong>the</strong>execution <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> last remaining group <strong>of</strong> around ten prisoners, which took place infront <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hangar.In <strong>the</strong> aftermath <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> above-described massacre, two hundred (200) persons weredeprived <strong>of</strong> life, <strong>of</strong> whom one hundred and ninety-three (193) have been positivelyidentified.
