Temsa Global’s high-quality buses & coaches have contributed significantly to Turkey’s reputation as the European centre for automotive<br />

production and export. According to the Turkish Automotive Manufacturer’s Association, Turkey already produces more buses and<br />

coaches than any other European country. Hence, it is anticipated that in the very near future half of all the buses and coaches sold<br />

Fields of activity<br />

Temsa Global mainly produces buses and coaches that carry<br />

the <strong>TEMSA</strong> brand. Within the framework of the distributorship<br />

agreement with Mitsubishi, the company is also engaged in sales,<br />

service and spare parts operations for Mitsubishi passenger cars,<br />

pick-ups, panel and window vans, light commercial vehicles, and<br />

Mitsubishi Fuso Canter light trucks. In addition, Temsa Global has<br />

maintained a strong foothold in the construction machinery sector<br />

as the distributor for Komatsu construction machines.

Temsa Global’s processes are reviewed regularly to ensure<br />

effective carbon management. This measure, offset, reduce and<br />

review process is a direct result of its Environmental Management<br />

Temsa Global also implements energy efficiency measures that reduce its<br />

energy consumption and costs. The environmental performance is monitored<br />

at every stage of the manufacturing process, ensuring the lowest possible<br />

impact on the environment.<br />

Temsa Global has clear targets for the recyclability and recoverability of its vehicles and components. In general, <strong>TEMSA</strong> vehicles are 85% recyclable<br />

and 99% recoverable (ISO 22628 Road vehicles - Recyclability and recoverability - Calculation method standard).<br />

To fight corrosion, Temsa Global uses Stainless Steel for the body structure of some of its vehicles instead of the more polluting coating systems.<br />

Stainless Steel is made of 90% recycled scrap metal and its light weight contributes to fuel efficiency.<br />

Temsa Global integrates alternatives to traditional fuels, such as CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and Hybrid technologies. By reducing harmful<br />

emissions, the company helps safeguard the world’s natural resources.<br />

Where possible Temsa Global uses composite materials in construction. These are light in weight and contribute to lower fuel consumption. Lower fuel<br />

consumption means less pollution.<br />
