Attenuation will change with feedthroughcurrent and temperature.To assure reliability, connectors may be subjected to anattenuation performance test verifying proper assembly andgrounding of the filters. Attenuation data on filter performanceis stated in reference to a 50 ohm impedancesystem in order to allow filter performance to be moreeas ily translated into real world impedances.
