The server comes with Raid 5 andhas two processors, offering the customer better redundancy and high processing power.• No set-up fee• PowerEdge R420 rack chassis for up to 6x3.5” HDDs• 1 x Intel Xeon E5-2430 processor (2.20 GHz, 15M cache)• 24GB memory for 2CPU (6x4GB dual rank UDIMMs) 1333 MHz• 3 x 1TB near line SAS 6Gbps 7.2k, hot plug hard drives• Uncapped Traffic usage3. Server Hosting Premium PlusThis offering is aimed at the business that requires a powerful server. SERVER HOSTINGAll other server hosting offerings will have traffic usage charges as part of the service.Rental servers remain the property of MWEB Business at all times and are rented out to a single client for theduration of the contract period. (Minimum contract period of 12 Months) All additional software installed onrental servers must be fully licenced.SOFTWARE OPTIONS:You have the option of renting or purchasing the following software systems for your server:• Microsoft: Windows Server; Microsoft SQL database server.• OpenSource: Red Hat Linux; MySQL database server; FreeBSD; or Fedora.Note: MWEB Business will install the OS software and run any necessary initial OS updates for a separate,once-off fee.PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT FEE SERVICES:The Standard, Advanced, Premium and Premium Plus server hosting packages are supported with a range ofprofessionally managed services, which include the following:1. Back-up services: Back-up is compulsory for professionally managed hosting clients. File system and SQLdatabase back-ups (SQL only if present) will be conducted by the MWEB Business technical team. Back-upof open files is also available. Full back-ups are conducted once a week and incremental back-ups areconducted daily.Please note: In order to ensure that back-ups are performed optimally, specific instructions must becomplied with as per details from the operations team.2. Support: Support is available for the following operating systems, databases and hardware:• UNIX Operating Systems: FreeBSD; Redhat ES 3 upwards (license fee required for updates); andFedora.The following Operating systems are supported:• Redhat ES 6.2 upwards (Requires license for updates)• FreeBSD 8.3 upwards• Fedora 18 upwards• Ubuntu 11 upwards• CentOS 6 upwards (free Redhat version)• UNIX Applications: MySQL; Apache; PHP; Perl; Open SSH; GCC; Webmin; PostgreSQL, Sendmail;,Bind; Glibc; and Python.• Additional applications may also be supported on request ie Java, cpanel. SERVER HOSTING3. After-hours support:24-hour support is only available with Server hosting – “after hours” support contracts. Server hostingcustomers who supply their own server operating systems, are responsible for their own back-upservices, software provision, management and support of the system.4. 24/7 Server monitoring:SMS notifications are sent to the customer if and when their server goes down.5. 24/7 Disaster recovery support (limited to one restore per month): MWEB Business can assistcustomers, on written request, with disaster recovery support for catastrophic failures.6. Security Services - please note: security products do not come standard with our Server hosting options.Security services are available from MWEB Business as an optional extra, for an additional fee.Ts and Cs apply.
