6 BUSH TELE LETTERS Dear BT, Council’s current policy on smoke from wood fires is inadequate. Someone forced to breathe their neighbour’s smoke is expected to observe their neighbour’s chimney and fill out a diary — mission impossible when the smoke is emitted after dark. In our area, every night the pattern is the same — a strong smoky smell arrives after dark and persists until morning and sometimes well into the next day. For those with wood stoves there is no incentive at all to run them in accordance with Council’s guidelines and it only takes a few smokey fires in a street to ruin the air for everyone. Whether or not people complain to Council — and recent letters to the local papers suggest that wood smoke is a problem for many — when they smell smoke they are breathing toxic particles which are damaging to their health. These particles are small enough to enter the bloodstream. Wood smoke also contains noxious gases such as carbon monoxide, benzene, formaldehyde and tolulene. According to the federal Department of the Environment, “The health problems associated with woodsmoke include asthma, chronic lung disease, heart problems and premature births and deaths. Some of the toxic chemicals in woodsmoke are known to cause cancer.” These health effects are not in dispute; they are confirmed by the report commissioned by the state government last year, which finds that further regulation of wood smoke would “produce substantial health benefit over the years, valued at billions of dollars.” People are not allowed to dump their rubbish in the street in the 21st century, why are they allowed to pollute the air we all have no choice but to breathe? Alan Miller, Hornsby Dear BT, Yet again I read of Clover Moores statement, TBTW 5/7/2012, expressing her case for the abolition of “puppy farms” and her concern for the plight of surrendered animals. To rectify this, she is in a favourable position to introduce a private members bill, perhaps seconded and detailed by the R.S.P.C.A. and given public sentiment I am sure this could be quickly legislated without demur. To date, she has failed to act. I will raise the matter with our local M.P. with view to more forthright action. Insider Inside Secrets From Karen Anderson, One Of Australia's Most Successful Property Investors & Property Investing Educators… The T Formula for Successful Property Investing in 2012 Why it’s easier than you think to find the best places to invest in property this year and take advantage of those new Tax Free Government Incentives That Almost Nobody Else Seems To Be Talking About… If you’ve always known that property is the easiest way to create wealth in Australia… but are unsure of how to get started, whether now is the best time to even buy an investment property … or you have invested in property before but have not seen the results you wanted… Then this could be the most important article you ever read. Here’s why. You have probably said this to yourself before... and if not, I bet you’ve heard someone else say these words. “Oh, if only I had bought property in that area back then...” Well we can’t do anything about the past (as much as we’d like to)… but if you were interested in getting an investment property soon, wouldn’t it be good to know... Where To Buy In 2012 Imagine… it’s the year 2022 and you are sitting back feeling secure, proud and happy that you bought the right investment property which (at least) doubled in value... giving you hundreds of thousands of dollars that you didn’t have to work for... while everyone else whinges and moans, wishing they had bought property in the same area as you did back in 2012. How much of a difference would that make to your life? The question then is... how do you find the areas today that are expected to skyrocket in value over the coming few years... so that you don’t miss out like you might have in the past? What if... you could leverage off someone with over a decade of in-the-trenches experience… someone who can be trusted… with a proven track record and who is known by those in her inner circle as someone who has a knack of finding those little known property hotspots? $0 to $10.3 Million In 10 Years Meet local Sydney resident Karen Anderson. 13 years ago, Karen discovered a unique property investing system that allows her to find properties that match your financial profile in areas with amazing capital growth potential… and then combine those properties with the right financial structure to help you: Pay off your existing mortgage in less than 10 years Save an average of $277,000 in interest (on a typical $400,000 home loan) Create a multimillion dollar property portfolio that funds your lifestyle (rather than you having to work to fund your investment properties) Pay less than 9% income tax In fact, Karen and her husband Tom, both originally from South Africa, have helped 1,133 clients achieve these sorts of results using their proven formula… and they have been able to do this despite the Dot com crash of 2000, the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 and any other financial crisis the world has been through… … and now you have the opportunity to learn this very same information for free. What You Will Learn Where the best areas are to buy property in 2012… and why! How to take advantage of the Government’s new annual incentive for property investors … before it’s gone (You’ll be kicking yourself if you miss out on this potential $100,000!). Why you don’t need to pay off your mortgage first before you start investing (in fact it’s actually better if you haven’t!) How to get other people to do almost all the hard work for you The key strategy you must focus on when investing in property How to maximise your chances of choosing a high growth, wealth accelerating investment property (With this quick, easy-to-use 20 point checklist, you can instantly work out which are the best investment properties for you) The number one reason why people fail to make money in property The limitations of having your investment property loan with the same bank that has your home loan Who This Event Is For Karen Anderson Whether you’re thinking about buying your first investment property, or you’re more of an experienced property investor, this cutting edge information is just what you need to be able to invest safely, profitably and with peace of mind. To claim your two FREE tickets normally valued at $97, or to get more information, please call 8850 9666 or go to: www.propertywealthseminars.com.au The event will be held on Tuesday night, 31 July at the Asquith Leagues Club, 11- 37 Alexandria Parade, Waitara. Registration begins at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. Allocated seating is limited – the room can only hold 110 people. Previous events have always been sold out. So when the tickets are gone, they are gone. This means you need to book your seats right now. Go online or call 8850 9666 NOW. Copyright (c) 2012 Votiva Pty Ltd.
