Editoriál/EditorialVážení zákazníci, vážení obchodní partneri,už ôsmym číslom tohto časopisu vám približujemeprácu a výsledky našej spoločnosti,problémy a príležitosti železničnej dopravy,informujeme o nových produktoch, vozňoch,investičných počinoch, ale aj konferenciácha výstavách zameraných na železničnú dopravua logistiku, snažíme sa poradiť a pomôcťorientovať sa v predpisových ustanoveniach,predstavujeme z pohľadu zákazníka dôležitépracoviská a našich zamestnancov... Zámerdoplniť komunikáciu s našimi partnermi a zákazníkmiprostredníctvom časopisu sa námdarí, aspoň podľa ohlasov na jednotlivé čísla.K niektorým článkom sa rozvinula aj polemika(napr. k príspevku Nový komerčný model AVV –ako ďalej?), čo je taktiež žiaduce pre riešenienačrtnutých problémov.Toto vydanie časopisu predchádza konferenciiObchodný rok 2011, ktorá sa už po jedenástyraz tradične koná vo Vysokých Tatrách. Drsnéprostredie našich veľhôr a neľahká úloha daťželezničnej doprave miesto medzi dopravnýmisystémami, ktoré jej z pohľadu environmentálnychkritérií, potrieb hospodárstva aj princípovlogistiky prináleží, patria k sebe. Len škoda, žev priebehu konferencie nezostáva dostatočnýčas na vysokohorskú túru, alebo aspoň prechádzkudo ústia tatranských dolín. Z vlastnejskúsenosti viem, že pri vysokohorskej alebohorolezeckej túre sa mi neriešiteľné problémyzdali ničotné, prichádzal som na riešenia, ktoréby mi za kancelárskym stolom nenapadli.Všetci dúfame, že najhoršie obdobie finančnejkrízy máme za sebou a čaká nás hospodárskyrast a s ním aj nárast výkonov železničnejdopravy. Žiaľ, ani tak sa nevyhneme výkyvomvo vývoji jednotlivých hospodárskych odvetvía takým udalostiam s negatívnym dopadomna plynulosť a kvalitu železničnej dopravy,akými boli povodne v máji tohto roku.V budúcom roku očakávame zosúladeniepodmienok pre železničnú a cestnú dopravu,najmä v oblasti poplatkov za používanieinfraštruktúry. Ďalšie možnosti vidíme v rozvojiintermodálnej prepravy, v náraste výmenytovaru v smere východ – západ a opačne.Investície sú smerované tak, aby príležitostizvyšovania objemu prepravy tovaru sa stalirealitou.Účastníkom konferencie Obchodný rok 2011prajem príjemný pobyt vo Vysokých Tatrácha veľa pozitívnych a užitočných informácií.Ing. We have tried to advise you onregulatory provisions and make you morefamiliar with them and introduce you to theimportant workplaces and our employees fromthe standpoint of a customer... The intention tomake the communication with our partners andcustomers more intense through our magazinehas been a success, at least according tothe response we have received to individualmagazine issues. Some articles have resultedin a debate (e.g. article New Commercial ModelAVV – what is to come?) which could also bebeneficial to the solution of outlined problems.This issue precedes the conference Trade Year2011, which is going to be held traditionallyin the High Tatras for the eleventh time.Harsh environment of our mountains anda difficult task to give the rail traffic its properplace among the transport systems, which itdeserves from the standpoint of environmentalcriteria, the needs of the economy andprinciples of logistics, are closely connected.It is a pity that during the conference there isno time to make a mountain hiking trip or atleast to walk to the mouth of the High Tatrasvalleys. Based on my own experience I knowthat when making a mountain hiking trip ormountain climbing, the unsolvable problemsseemed trivial to me and I came to a solutionthat I would have never come across sitting atmy office desk.We all hope that the worst period of financialcrisis is behind us and the economic growthas well as an increase in performance of railtraffic is ahead of us. Unfortunately, we willnot be able to avoid the fluctuations in thedevelopment of individual economic sectors orother events having a negative impact on thecontinuity and quality of rail traffic, such asfloods in May this year.Next year we expect the conditions for rail androad transport to be harmonized, particularlyin the field of infrastructure charges. We cansee further perspectives in the development ofintermodal transport, in the growth of goodsexchange in direction East - West and viceversa.
