Master thesis process• Ideal 5-month schedule:• Doing preliminary research and making a research design: 1-1.5month (partly in the masterclass)• Developing a theoretical framework: 1-1.5 month• Data collection and analysis: 1.5 months• Finishing the report: 1 month• Starting later than February means finishing later than July• Start thinking about an assignment now

Master class• Closely related to the master thesis: starts at the same time• Purpose: improving your master thesis• How: Lectures + assignments + presentations & peer review• Grading• Group assignment (40 %)• Review of research proposal (20 %)• Own research proposal (40 %) – to be graded by supervisor• Emphasis in 1st quartile, extended in 2nd quartile
