Producing up to200 books per hour, the automated DB-280is ideal for short-run, on-demand prinngapplicaons.With the automated performance and otheroutstanding features typically reservedfor more expensive machines, the DB-280 provides centrally located controlsfor single-operator efficiency. Electronicoperaon and a clearly marked LED displayensure more precise sengs, while a quickpush of a buon converts the machine forpadding jobs.Simply place flat sheets into the clampwhere pages are gripped automacally andthe binding process is started. A doublepass over the roughening cuer providessuperior notching to ensure superb gluepenetraon for a perfect bind. Its clampingand nipping system also ensures consistentsquare binds.Innovave features of the DB-280 includea dust extractor as well as two glue drumswhich provide a more durable bind andaddional glue capacity. The DB-280 alsohas both tape and case binding capabiliesand with a quick push of a buon, canconvert to a padding funcon where onlythe precise amount of glue is added tocomplete perfectly bound note pads.For added convenience and efficiency,the DB-280 features a cover deteconmechanism at the nipping staon thatassures the clamp will not travel back to thenipping posion unl the cover stock is inposion. Opmum operator convenienceis further ensured by the ability to presetnipping and clamping me and by a standbymode that allows periodic interruponsin producon while minimizing gluedeterioraon.
