That is, when the demand is very highand the supply is less, certainly, it paves way <strong>for</strong> increasing the price.The supply is less due to floods and drought conditions. In such acondition, the supply of essential commodities can be increased onlythrough import. If at all there is hoarding, we can impose stockholdinglimits. Tightening of de-hoarding operations will have only a temporaryrelief.(CONTD.
