Press [F8 (Exec)] once again to execute the Save operation.Rhythm Level (Rhythm Set Level)Sets the volume of the rhythm set.Value: 0–1271Functions of Rhythm SetParametersThis section explains the functions the different rhythm setparameters have, as well as the composition of these parameters.If a number is displayed for the parameter name, ( 1 , 2 , 3 ,4 ), you can use the realtime controller knob of the correspondingnumber (the left most knob is number 1, the right most knob isnumber 4) to set the value.When you enter the Rhythm Edit screen, the indicator at the right ofthe Realtime Control knobs will go out, and the Realtime Controlknobs can be used to edit the parameters of the patch or rhythm set.If you once again press the button located at the right of the RealtimeControl knobs to make the indicator light, the knobs will controltheir original functions. Even withcontinuous sounds where the sound plays for anextended time, such as with crash cymbals, thesounds are layered, without previously playedsounds being eliminated.SINGLE: Only one sound can be played at a time when thesame key is pressed. With continuous sounds wherethe sound plays for an extended time, the previoussound is stopped when the following sound isplayed.Mute GroupOn an actual acoustic drum set, an open hi-hat and a closed hi-hatsound can never occur simultaneously. To reproduce the reality ofthis situation, you can set up a Mute Group.The Mute Group function allows you to designate two or morerhythm tones that are not allowed to sound simultaneously. Up to 31Mute Groups can be used. rhythm tones that are not belong to anysuch group should be set to “OFF.”Value: OFF, 1–31Tone Env Mode (Rhythm Tone Envelope Mode)For details on these settings, refer to “How to make RhythmSet settings” (p. 83).Rhythm Level applies to the entire rhythm set; the otherparameters are set individually for each rhythm tone.When a loop waveform (p. 85) is selected, the sound will normallycontinue as long as the key is pressed. If you want the sound todecay naturally even if the key remains pressed, set this to “NOSUS.”Value: NO-SUS, SUSTTAINIf a one-shot type Wave (p. 85) is selected, it will not sustaineven if this parameter is set to “SUST.”87
